GENERAL TERMS OF TRADE

1. DEFINITIONS:
• CUSTOMER: any individual or legal entity that seeks to make an apartment reservation.
• AB: ADRIATIC BOOKERS (Travel Agency) as provider of the information services.
• OFFER: Listing of services provided by each apartment establishment.
• APARTMENT: Establishment in which CUSTOMER chooses to make the reservation.
• RESERVATION CONFIRMATION: Electronic document confirming the reservation requested.
• PRICE: Nightly rate for staying in the selected apartment chosen by CUSTOMER.

2. The following general terms of trade are applicable to all reservations made via this website. Any modification shall be made in writing by AB. Acceptation of a reservation shall imply acceptation of these general terms of trade. AB reserves the right to modify its general terms of trade at any time, without prejudice to any rights acquired previously.

3. For the purposes of choosing an apartment, CUSTOMER hereby acknowledges as sufficient the information and content provided by APARTMENT and appearing on this website.

4. Reservations shall be accepted in writing by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address supplied by CUSTOMER. Said e-mail shall contain reservation confirmation, reservation finding and the following details: name, address and telephone number of the owner, check-in and check-out dates, type of accommodation booked and total price of the services contracted. CUSTOMER shall have a duty to check the reservation confirmation and provide immediate notification of any error therein. In the absence of any such notification, the confirmation shall be deemed correct and included as an integral part of the reservation agreement.

5. An initial non-refundable deposit is required to complete your booking. The reservation shall be deemed effective only when expressly accepted by AB by means of the reservation confirmation.

5.1). All payments will be effected in Croatian currency. The amount your credit card account will be charged for is obtained through the conversion of the price in Euro into Croatian kuna according to the current exchange rate of the Croatian National bank. When charging your credit card, the same amount is converted into your local currency according to the exchange rate of credit card associations. As a result of this conversion there is a possibility of a slight difference from the original price stated in our web site.

6. CANCELLATION OF RESERVATIONS.

6.1). Customers have the right to cancel or amend their reservation at no cost and with no compensation charge until 7 days before the arrival day, making all cancellations through this web site.

6.2). If the reservation is cancelled/amended less than 7 days, prior to the arrival date, then a penalty equivalent will range from one night’s room rate to 100% of the final amount due.

6.3). If the reservation is made less than 7 days before the arrival day or if the user does not show up, the cancellation expenses will range from one night’s room rate to 100% of the final amount due.

AB may proceed to charge such amounts directly to the credit card of the customer, who hereby expressly agrees not to challenge such charges.

Said penalty shall be charged directly to CUSTOMER’s credit card. CUSTOMER hereby undertakes not to contest payment of said penalty charge.

7. The apartment agreement associated with the reservation shall be carried out in accordance with Croatia’s Tourism Act and with other applicable administrative provisions which have not been expressly modified by the parties by means of these general terms of trade.

8. CUSTOMER hereby agrees to be governed by Croatian law and the jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of Split.

9. Any provisions regarding consumer rights, should CUSTOMER fall under said definition, are expressly excluded.

10. By making a electronic reservation request via this website, CUSTOMER accepts the terms, duties and responsibility disclaimers set forth in these general terms of trade.

11. PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy is an extremely important aspect for us. As a routine part of our activity, we must gather and communicate information on you. In relation to our privacy policy, here we describe the information which the File manager of the Adriatic Bookers, with headquarters in Croatia, Split, at Senjska no. 2, collects from you, and what happens to that information.
When you register with our server, your personal details go into our database. This information is used only to process the services which we offer.
Users state that they are of legal age (over 18 years old) and have the necessary legal capacity to contract the services offered by the providers at AB web site, likewise stating that they accept the binding character of this agreement and that they understand and accept completely the terms which are set out here on the use of this web site and the services which are offered at it.

The personal data which are stored in the Adriatic Booker’s server are protected by means of a firewall and other security measures to prevent their access by unauthorized persons.

All these systems are monitored constantly to detect any breach in security and they form the highest standard for business through Internet sites. Nevertheless, bear closely in mind that “perfect security” on the Internet does not exist.
