ClickSplit website is owned and operated by Apropo d.o.o., a company based in the city of Split, Croatia. Offering over 200 accommodation units for short or long-term stays, ClickSplit has a great choice of rentals in a range of fantastic locations. Since our beginning in 2005 our aim is to offer our guests a wide selection of rooms, apartments and houses in Split at the most competitive prices. What differentiates us from the most of our competitors is the fact that we focused only on Split, we don't have a hundreds of destinations and thousands of properties around the world. We are all born in Split, we love Split, our team knows the city of Split like no one and therefore can help you with everything that most interests you.


The protection of your personal data is very important to us. As far as we collect, process or use ('use'), personal information about you as part of the services provided, this is done so under the relevant Croatian and European data protection laws. We use personal information you actively provide us (e.g. at registration, while making an booking, etc.) for the implementation of our services. We use 'persistent' cookies. They remain on the user's computer to simplify personalization and registration services the next time our site is visited. Cookies can store for example, what the user has selected. The user can always manually remove 'persistent' cookies. We also use 'session' cookies. These do not stay on the user's computer. Once the user leaves the site, this temporary cookie is deleted. Using the information gathered, we can analyze usage patterns and structures of the site. In this way we can improve our services further and further, such as by improving content, personalization and making the site easier to use. By means of a so-called 'tracking tool' on the website, data is collected and stored for marketing and optimization purposes. An anonymous user profile is created with the saved data. The user can object to the data collection and storage at any time in the future. Without the express consent of the user, we will not use the tracking tools to secretly collect personal data about the user, and to forward such data to third parties and marketing platforms, or to link the data with personal data (name, address, etc.).

Safety and Security

Transaction safety and security is an issue of major importance for our company. To ensure the security of your transactions, we use a secure server (SSL 128 bit), which encrypts the credit card number and encodes it to a non-usable form. The encryption process is certified by Thawte and your credit card details are being revealed only to the financial institution operating the transaction. Furthermore, our payment gateway features 3D secure technology certified by VISA and MasterCard. Our staff cannot read and does not have access to the details of your card and which are not being saved in our system in any way. Selected accommodation in selected periods shall be paid by credit card using the payment gateway system for online authorization of credit cards. All payments will be effected in Croatian currency. The charged amount on your credit card account is converted into your local currency according to the exchange rate of credit card associations.

3D Secure payment

ClickSplit is dedicated to providing secure online payment methods. That’s why we've added an extra level of security for Visa and MasterCard payments, which protects you from the unauthorized use of your credit card. 3-D Secure technology consists of the programs Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode. After you enter your credit card details, a new window will appear, requesting your personal security code. Your financial institution will authenticate the transaction within seconds, as well as confirm that you are the individual making the purchase. If you haven't yet registered with Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode, you'll need to activate this feature first. You can do this during the payment process, or activate it in advance through the Visa or MasterCard website. After you register, you can use the security code for all your online transactions. More and more websites are making this extra security code compulsory. SecureCode not only protects your card against unauthorised use, it also means you can have confidence that the website you're buying from has made your security a priority.

Confirming your booking
Your booking is not confirmed until ClickSplit receives the full payment in advance and you have received the confirmation email from ClickSplit. Payments can be made by Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express. The confirmation email contains all your booking details such as the address of the apartment, contact details, etc. We hold the payment until 24 hours after check-in and if everything is as expected, we will release the funds to the owner.

Damage deposit and city tax
The damage deposit and city tax (if required by the owner upon arrival) have to be paid in cash. The damage deposit is refunded by the owner when you leave the apartment in good condition.

Cancelling your booking
Cancellation must be made in writing. Email: info@clicksplit.com

- If you cancel 15 or more days before your arrival day, 100% refund.
- If you cancel between 14 and 7 days before arrival day, 50% refund.
- If you cancel less than 7 days before arrival, or in case of a non-show, no refund.

If you decide to change the dates or apartment, it will be considered a new booking and will be subject to the standard cancellation procedures. If there is a complaint from either party, notice must be given to ClickSplit within 24 hours of check-in. ClickSplit will mediate when necessary, and has the final say in all disputes. Cancellations of any type, including those based on force majeur, will be subject to this cancellation policy. The clients are recommended to take out a travel insurance.

Amendments to your booking
If, after receipt of the confirmation email or upon your arrival ClickSplit is unable to provide you with the property that you booked, you will be offered alternative accommodation with a similar or better characteristics. If you don't like any of the alternatives we will refund 100% of the total amount paid.

ClickSplit provides an online booking service that helps you to book apartments. The service of ClickSplit is legally limited to displaying apartments and communication regarding bookings and sending out the confirmation by email. The liability of ClickSplit is limited to the amount equal to your online payment. Neither ClickSplit nor the owner of the apartment can be made liable for any direct or indirect damages that may occur during your stay at the accommodation, including (but not limited to) injury to person or possessions, and loss due to fire, theft or criminal behaviour. Likewise, ClickSplit are not responsible for potential delays, accidents, loss, and change of schedule or rates that are related to our suppliers' services. ClickSplit and its employees are not responsible for errors and omissions, misrepresentation by third parties, disputes between the customer and a third party, and the content of external links on its website. ClickSplit is not part of the rental agreement. However, complaints can be made via ClickSplit and they will be communicated to the owner.

About the website
ClickSplit aims to display on its website high quality content and information based on information supplied by the apartment owner. While ClickSplit does its best to verify and update the information as seen on the website, we cannot be held responsible for errors, changes or omissions that may occur. ClickSplit reserves the right to update information published on the site at any time including (but not limited to) rates, descriptions and photographs. ClickSplit reserves the right to update its terms and conditions at any time as required. It is the responsibility of parties using the ClickSplit service to review these terms and conditions in case of change before making a booking. By agreeing to use the ClickSplit service it is understood that all parties accept any changes and that all parties comply with these changes. These terms and conditions do not affect your consumer statutory rights.

Applicable law
Since ClickSplit is stationed in Split, these conditions are subject to Croatian law. The Croatian Courts shall have sole jurisdiction in the event of legal action concerning an accommodation booking with Apropo d.o.o..
